As Covid becomes a distant memory and people venture out to attend large social gatherings, it’s been an eventful year for Scotloo.
Events Season
We invite you to share some of the highlights and events that Scotloo/Scotbox had the pleasure to work with in 2023. As the year draws to a close we take time to reflect on some of the gatherings that has been the most enjoyable for the Scotloo/Scotbox team.
We supply our products and services to more Scottish events than you may realise, from toilets to site accommodation and everything in between. Scotloo/Scotbox is one of Scotland’s leading suppliers of portable toilets and showers. You can be assured our professional team will work quietly in the background to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Music Festivals
At the start of the year we returned to Kirriemuir’s famous Bonfest. This festival celebrates the AC/DC rock legend Bon Scott, in his hometown of Kirriemuir. This year was the 18th anniversary of the annual gathering where AC/DC fans from around the globe unite for three days to celebrate the rock legend.
One of the largest events we supported this year was Radio 1 Big Weekend in Dundee. Scotloo were kept very busy with this event! Huge crowds from across Scotland turned up looking to enjoy music from the likes of Scottish singer and songwriter, Lewis Capaldi. Crowds were also treated to spectacular performances from Jess Glynne, The Jonas Brothers, Tom Grennan, The 1975’s and Niall Horan and many more.
This year, we also had the pleasure of supporting the FLY Open Air Festival in the spectacular surroundings of Hopetoun House in Queensferry. We regularly support Scotlands, Fly Open Air dance music events that are set in some of the most picturesque locations, such as Princes Street Gardens, overlooking Edinburgh Castle. Another music festival that is set in a beautiful setting is Party at the Palace at Linlithgow Palace.
Finally, Magnitude Events at Lendick Muir outdoor activity centre in the heart of Scotland. The new Christian youth festival is always a huge hit with the locals and guaranteed to have a good turn out.
Sporting Events
Scotloo has also been kept busty this year with many sporting events organised by Cancer Research, Knockhill Racing Circuit and WildFox Events. Also, we regularly support events for the ABF Soldiers Charity who organise the Cateran Yomp. Every year, hundreds of Yompers gather in the Scottish wilderness to battle through the Cairngorm Mountains’ foothills and raise funds for this good cause. The fundraising adventure challenge, set in the stunning landscape of Ardtalnaig, provides vital support for soldiers, veterans, and their families.
One of our favourite annual events to attend are the Highland Games that take place at many locations across Scotland. This year we had the pleasure of supporting Blackford Highland Games and the Drumtochty Highland Games. We also are proud to support Perth Racecourse on race day events throughout the year that are alway guaranteed to pull in the crowds.
As the year draws to a close we are busy preparing for another busy events season in 2024. We want to ensure we are consistently providing the best service we can. We will take this time to expand our toilets and site accommodation to guarantee we are providing the best products and services to rock 2024 events seasons.
